Lightweight Modular Plastic Formwork

Product Description
PP Plastic Formwork | 65mm and 78mm Wall and Column Panels
Overview

PP plastic formwork is a modular mould system of polypropylene panels that are bolted together with installation handles and alignment crossbars to build walls, columns and slabs. The 78 mm panel range covers the widest set of sizes: the largest sheet is 1500 x 1200 mm, covering 1.80 m² at 27.00 kg, so two workers can carry and set it without a crane. The system is used on swimming pools and water-retaining structures as well as ordinary building work, because the moulded face releases cleanly and is washed down with water between pours.

Key Features
  • Polypropylene panels with a 78 mm section that bend rather than crack when impacted
  • Deep section keeps the face stiff at low weight - one worker can carry most panels
  • Large sheets reduce the number of joints for smoother concrete surfaces
  • Panels are brought level automatically by standard handles, tie rods, nuts and plastic sleeves
  • 78 mm range built for 80-100 reuses, ideal for repetitive floor plans
  • 65 mm black series (models A01-A19) designed for smaller projects with ~50 reuses
  • Both series maintain scrap value after project completion

System and Accessories

A set is supplied complete rather than as loose sheets: panels, installation handles, alignment crossbars (reinforced back ribs), support pillars, tie rods, nuts, plastic sleeves, steel back braces and inclined supports. Because the layout is modular, a crew without specialist formwork training can assemble a wall, column or slab section from the same kit, which removes the carpentry and the cutting that a timber mould needs.

Application

PP plastic formwork is poured for walls, columns and slabs on repetitive building layouts, and for swimming pools, water tanks and other water-retaining structures where a tight, smooth face matters. It also suits walls and slabs on low to mid-rise projects where the same panels are stripped and re-used floor after floor.

Send your structure drawings or the size of the element you are pouring, and we will return a panel layout, a panel list and samples for approval.
